The Times Higher Education THE World University Rankings announced the university ranking results for 2022, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was ranked in the Top 500 best universities in the world.
This is TDTU’s first recognition in the ranking.
THE (Times Higher Education) is one of the three most influential university ranking organizations in the world, alongside two other ranking systems, QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) and ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities).
In the other two rankings, TDTU is also one of the first universities in Vietnam to be ranked in the top:
- ARWU Ranking System: TDTU was first ranked among 901-1000 in 2019; ranked in the Top 701-800 in 2020, and the top 601-700 in 2021.
- QS Ranking System: TDTU was ranked among 1001+ in 2020 and in the group of 1001-1200 in the ranking period of 2022.
In addition, on other university rankings, TDTU is also in the group of high-ranking universities among the best universities in the world: 623th according to US News (USA) and 639th according to URAP (Turkey).
Each ranking system has its own set of criteria. With similar results in many rankings, especially THE, QS and ARWU, it can be seen that TDTU's position on the world education map has been firmly established.
