March 21, 2023 - The virtual workshop “How to effectively exploit the Web of Science” hosted by TDTU INSPiRE Library and Clarivate aimed to help explore how to use search strategies and techniques to search on its online databases and other featured tools in order to support research. More than 200 lecturers, students of TDTU and VFIS participated in this workshop.

Web of Science (WoS) is known as a platform that provides access to databases of interdisciplinary areas for research and academics. WoS is considered as the world’s most prestigious platform and widely used by researchers worldwide. It offers bibliographical access to interdisciplinary, most trusted collections of 22,000 peer-reviewed journals in over 250 subject categories, 17.2 millions open access records with full text links, EndNote Online and so on.

TDTU has purchased an annual subscription of WoS to foster research, teaching and learning activities at TDTU. The workshop on how to use this platform will be organized annually to ensure that the library users can take advantage of it for their research.
