Ton Duc Thang University in the Top 100 best young universities in the world

On February 15, 2022, THE World University Rankings announced the list of the world’s best young universities in 2022. Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was ranked 98th out of 790 universities.

THE Young University Rankings is a worldwide ranking of universities that are 50 years old or younger, announced by THE since 2012. This is TDTU’s first recognition in the ranking.

In terms of methodology, this table is also based on the same 13 calibrated performance indicators of THE World University Rankings, including the weighted reduction of the reputation indicator, which is measured by the survey method.

13 performance indicators of THE Young University Rankings are divided into 5 groups including: Teaching, Research, Citations, International Outlook and Knowledge Transfer.

With this ranking result, TDTU is the first and only university in Vietnam in the Top 100 best young universities in the world.

Established in 1997, TDTU is one of the public universities operating under an autonomous mechanism. In September 2021, THE also announced the results of the world’s best universities, and TDTU was one of the first 2 universities in Vietnam to be ranked in the Top 500 best universities in the world.
