Training program for librarians of high schools in Khanh Hoa Province

On November 10, 2018, the TDTU INSPiRE Library organized a training program for all librarians and staffs working at high schools in Khanh Hoa Province. The training program is a part of the Memorandum of Understanding between TDTU and Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training.

Based on the actual situation at the school libraries of Khanh Hoa Province, the TDTU Library presented detailed guidelines on the development of resources; how to create and distribute library services; the way of organizing inspirational spaces, developing the skills as well as qualities of librarians and applying science and technology in library activities; the self-assessment and plan for development of the library, etc. so that the library can become a standard, advanced or excellent school library in line with the Ministry of Education and Training's standards.

The training program was highly appreciated by leaders of the Department of Education and Training as well as teachers working in libraries at high schools in Khanh Hoa Province. Mr. Nguyen Sinh Cung, Head of the Secondary Education Division under Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training said: "The training program is not just about imparting knowledge and skills to trainees, but it’s also educational."
